Terminal Forest Products

Primarily a Western Red Cedar operation, Terminal Sawmills has undergone tremendous growth and modernization in response to the demand for those products. Our fibre supply comes from our own Timber Licenses with the balance of our requirements obtained from external suppliers. The sawmill processes Western Red Cedar logs into rough, green lumber.

This mill-run lumber is sorted according to size and grade and then stored in our yard for further manufacture at the planer mill. At the planer, lumber is blanked, trimmed, graded and sorted to length. At this point some of the production is ready for immediate shipment to customers. The balance moves on for kiln drying and further finishing at our re-manufacturing plant. This mill operates very efficiently, producing an average of 350 Mfbm per shift.
